Office 365: How to set up a developer subscription

The Microsoft Office 365 Developer Program provides an Office 365 developer subscription as one of its benefits. This Office 365 developer subscription is ideal for developers to develop and test their solutions independent of their production environment.

As of March 15, 2018, this program now has a new portal experience where you can sign up for the Developer Program and set up a developer subscription soon after.

  • At this time, the subscription's region defaults to North America regardless of which country/region you are in. You can still proceed with setting up and using your developer subscription.
