Windows Troubleshooting: Doamin Logon Creates temporary profile automatically

Problem:

when we login with domain user account, OS will create temporary profile automatically instead of corresponding users profile. 

Solution

In order to fix the problem, please follow the steps:

  1. login with local administrator account.
  2. Go to regedit by run command.
  3. Then go to registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\currentVersion\ProfileList
  4. Expand profile list.
  5. Remove **.bak  **profile which is present in profile list.
  6. Then go to c: and delete "temp" folder.
  7. Restart the system and login with domain id.
  8. If still problem is getting then remove the system from domain and join again with domain.
