How To Prevent Add to Favorites menu in Internet Explorer in Windows 10 via Group Policy

Introduction:

If you like to prevent users to add to Favorites menu In Internet Explorer in Windows 10 via Group Policy then you can try this tip.

Steps to be followed:

**1. Press Win+R keys to launch Run menu.

  1. In the blank space type in gpedit.msc and hit the Enter key to launch Local Group Policy Editor.

  2. Now navigate to  User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> Browser menus

4.In right-side pane, double-click on Hide Favorites menu and set it to Enabled. Click OK or Apply.

**5.Close Group Policy Editor.

  1. Now Open Internet Explorer > Click Favorites button and try to add any web site. You will get the following pop up message:
