Steps

Copy over Downloads to the new Windows Server 2012 installation

1. Shut down your virtual box

2. Copy downloads to VHD

3. From your laptop copy your downloads to your Virtual Hard Disk within the folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\Hyper-V\Virtual hard disks.

4. When you click on the Virtual Hard disk a logical drive will appear representing the logical drive of your virtual server.

5. Create a new folder called share at the root of your virtual logical drive.

6. Drag the downloads to the “Share” folder.

N.B. ; - This logical drive share folder from your laptop will be visible as C:\Share within your virtual server.

7. Eject the Logical Drive representing the hard disk of the Virtual Server; -
