Microsoft Virtual Academy: How to

If you are interested in learning more and more about IT and you don’t know about Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA), then I must say that you are missing something really important. In this modern era of technology, there are many platforms to improve your skill set by learning from online tutorials and lectures. Just give it a try and search around the web for different platforms. I also searched and found many platforms. I’m not saying that the platforms other than Microsoft Virtual Academy  are useless but yes, I’m saying that MVA is on the top in my priority list. There are many reasons for choosing MVA and making it my priority in learning and improving the skill set. ​How to Register?

Registration for MVA is very easy. All you need is a Microsoft account. You’ll have to provide few details e.g. name, geographic location, and you’re ready to go. Microsoft will email you a verification link that you’ll use to activate your account. The registration procedure takes less than five minutes. MVA has some paid courses but there is a wide range of free courses.

After registration and signing-in, choose a learning plan to move on. Microsoft Virtual Academy will keep a training record of your learning process. The course completion progress will be shown in percentage. As you keep going, the percentage of the course completion will go up and finally when you’ll reach 100%, you’ll realize that you have improved a lot. MVA will award points a long as you keep on taking courses. During the course, you’ll also take the assessment tests to test yourself.

MVA has an option to make your profile public or private. There is a dashboard to keep your learning plan in a symmetric way. You can also make custom learning plans to arrange the courses you are enrolled in. Dashboard also shows your local and global  MVA ranking based on the earned points. Weekly and Monthly top members are also declared based on their points and membership levels. There are four membership levels which are: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
