SCOM 2012 Troubleshooting: Error 25211″Failed to install performance counters”

Problem

I have following error Product: System Center Operations Manager 2012 Agent — Error 25211.Failed to install performance counters.. Error Code: -2147024809 (The parameter is incorrect.).

Solution

To resolve this issue, use the following steps:

  1. The .NET Framework 3.5 should be installed on servers.
  2. On the failed sever open CMD as admin and run the following command “msiexec /i momagent.msi NOAPM=1”
