BizTalk Troubleshooting: error The program can’t start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer.

Problem

While running BizTalk 2013 R2 setup you encounter the error "The program can’t start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.”

Cause

BizTalk 2013 R2 requires the 2010 C++ Redistributable Packages to be installed in the server

Solution

Download and Install the C++ Redistributable Packages in the server and re-run BizTalk Server 2013 R2 Setup.
At the time of this writing, the packages could be found at Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
