Azure Site Recovery job fails with error "Replication couldn't be repaired for the virtual machine." Error 45003, 70096, 2915, 2927
Symptom
Either re-synchronization or disabling protection of a virtual machine fails.
Error message
- Replication couldn't be repaired for the virtual machine.
- Replication couldn't be disabled for the virtual machine.
Error code
- Service Error : 45003, 70096
- Provider Error : 2915, 2927
Resolution
This occurs when on-premises provider couldn't connect to Hyper-V host esp. when there are some on-premises connectivity issues. Refer the below KB articles to fix on-premises Hyper-V host issues.
