Windows Server 2012: How to join a computer to a Domain

First of all , if we have dhcp server on the network, Server or pc should already obtained an IP address and have communication with DC and other devices on the network.
İf you are giving a static IP to your server or PC make sure Preferred DNS address must be pointed  to DC or your DNS server. and make sure you can ping server before following below steps...

For server 2012 click on Computer name in system properties

Click on Change

you can give a name to your server or pc  or leave it with defult name, select Domain in Member of section and type in your domain , click ok.

you have to provide your enterprise administrator cridentials domainname\administrator   and type in your password and click ok

and you should get message like below, welcoming you on to  abc domain. for some reason you get error , check your preferred DNS settings on pc or joining server and check if you have TTL ping to DC..

Click ok to restart to server

select other user for Log back in as domain administrator for servers or domain users for clients
