Create a Group Policy Object

OneDrive Policy Settings

  • Save Documents to OneDrive by default : Allows all documents to OneDrive storage for all documents.
  • Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage : Prevents for files saving to OneDrive.
  • Prevent OneDrive files from syncing over metered connections : Blocks OneDrive syncronisation within metered connections.

Result

We can create our policies within our company or customers according to the above settings. While determining our security policies for our company / customers, we should to consider OneDrive settings for the our data security and also we should describe to copmanies's managers about the OneDrive's importance.
