Group Policy Refresh Interval and Loopback Processing Mode
Refresh Interval
Refresh interval, the refresh interval means that literally. Group Policy refresh interval on each vary according to the environment, works with default values. Later on, these values can play. Let our important notes:
1- Computer Configuration and User Configuration is divided into two. Durations are the same for both cases.
2- The default policy refresh time is 90 minutes.
3- PCs switched on or off automatically when the policy is renewed.
4- Update speed switchable between 0 and 45 days. But when given at 0, computers, domain controller policy will ask to 7 seconds. This will create the inside of a loop, is not recommended for large networks. Thus, at short intervals to refresh policy, a situation that is not recommended.
5- In Computer policy applied to the renewal period varies in time of our choosing. Although the upper limit is 30 minutes, we set the refresh interval time in 30 minutes into the policy by finding a random minutes, policy updates.
Our first grade, we were told that the default value is 90 minutes. Environment if we do not want to be a refresh in 90 minutes, "Disable refresh of Group Policy". Rule, enabling this may remove the renovation. At this stage, we need to keep in mind, walking in the background disable this process, we post will be whether the implementation of policy.
Loopback Processing
This setting is logged on with the same user on different computers available for our staff. By default, the environment User Configuration policies if the user goes to another computer, the cat also applied to the next policy will take.
Note: If a person applied by policy, log on to the computer where the application if there is a conflict between the policy, the policy applied to the computer session opened, the user will crush the rules that apply.
Loopback processing is not applied, by default, the first condition is true. Users go, go along with the location policy. In the case of conflict, the policy applied to the computer, I would ignore the user's policy.
In summary, the refresh interval, and we have information about loopback processing.
Wishing to be useful.
