MS Dynamics (NAV 2013)
Microsoft has among other things already announced that Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 will be the first in the line of their ERP products that run on Microsoft's Cloud Platform (Azure).
Therefore, it will only require a web browser on your PC to run Dynamics NAV 7, and no matter how you choose to implement this option, you can always access it via Internet Explorer through the new web client (we can use Chrome, Safari and Mozilla, as well).
There is also improvements in the role-based interface, including includes context-sensitive charts and fact boxes. There are few new functionalities (cost accounting, assembly order, cash-flow management…), as well. Also, we get a SharePoint parts and now, we can run NAV through SPP.
Designed in Dynamics NAV 2013 will be similar to the design in Microsoft Office, which among other things includes that there will no longer be a standard menu. Instead, the functions in the new solution will, as in Office, be placed at the top of the screen.
