How to check the object deletion rule in FIM 2010 Synchronization server

PURPOSE
The purpose of this wiki is to provide the steps to check the object deletion rule.  You can find additional information on the Object Deletion Rule in the Microsoft TechNet Document - Understanding Deprovisioning - Initiating deprovisioning by using the object deletion rule.

 

DISCLAIMER: For the purpose of this wiki page, we will use the Person Object Type.  However, these same steps can be utilized on any metaverse object type.

 

STEPS
  1. In the Synchronization Service Manager Console, select Metaverse Designer
  2. Select the Person object type
  3. From the Actions menu, select Configure Object Deletion Rule
