Hyper-V Failover Cluster with CSV

Install Windows Failover

  • Identical Windows 2008 R2 member Servers with SAN storage
  • Add Features WizardàFailover ClusteringàInstall
  • Run Failover Cluster validation test
  • Create Failover Cluster

 

  • Add nodes to the cluster
  • Configure Quorum disk for storage witness

Right Click ClusterNameàMore ActionsàConfigure Cluster Quorum Settings

 

  • Enable Clustered Shared Volumes

Right Click ClusterNameàEnable Cluster Shared Volumes

  • Add Storage to Cluster Shared Volumes

Right Click Cluster Shared VolumesàAdd Storage

 

Select the Storage

 

 

  • Now the Storages are ready for Hyper-V

Install Hyper-V

  • Add Features WizardàHyper-VàInstall
  • After Restarting create Virtual Machines

 

  • Add the Virtual machine to the Cluster

Right Click ClusteràConfigure a Service or ApplicationàVirtual Machine

  • Start the virtual machine from cluster

  

  • Start the virtual machine from cluster
