Hyper-V Failover Cluster with CSV
Install Windows Failover
- Identical Windows 2008 R2 member Servers with SAN storage
- Add Features WizardàFailover ClusteringàInstall
- Run Failover Cluster validation test
- Create Failover Cluster
- Add nodes to the cluster
- Configure Quorum disk for storage witness
Right Click ClusterNameàMore ActionsàConfigure Cluster Quorum Settings
- Enable Clustered Shared Volumes
Right Click ClusterNameàEnable Cluster Shared Volumes
- Add Storage to Cluster Shared Volumes
Right Click Cluster Shared VolumesàAdd Storage
Select the Storage
- Now the Storages are ready for Hyper-V
Install Hyper-V
- Add Features WizardàHyper-VàInstall
- After Restarting create Virtual Machines
- Add the Virtual machine to the Cluster
Right Click ClusteràConfigure a Service or ApplicationàVirtual Machine
- Start the virtual machine from cluster
- Start the virtual machine from cluster
