Product Features Comparison and MSDN Products by Benefit Level

Ever wonder if Windows 3.1 comes with your MSDN subscription?  Okay maybe not but it WOULD be nice to know what products come with the various subscription levels of MSDN.  Turns out there is a spreadsheet we have that shows just about everything based on subscription level.  I’ll get to that in a minute but if you just want to know what version of Visual Studio 2010 you need to get certain features just look here:

https://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/product-comparison

For Visual Studio 11 Beta you can go here:

https://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/11/en-us/products/compare

Finally, if you want the spreadsheet that shows MSDN products that come with various levels of MSDN subscriptions you can download it from here:

"Ever wonder is," do you mean "Ever wonder if?"

These lists are very useful. Have they ever been updated? It seems a shame that it's so hard to determine which version of MSDN to buy, particularly with the demise of TechNet.
