Welcome, Wilkommen, Bienvenido...
Welcome to the Xbox Team blog! Now that Xbox 360 has been out there and is being enjoyed by a ton of people, a couple of us here on the Xbox team at Microsoft thought we'd give the community an inside scoop on what it's like working here. We'd also like to share tips & tricks for Xbox 360. Maybe we'll even be able to share some technical info about how the features you're using right now were made.
Some of you are probably wondering how we are related to Major Nelson. At Microsoft, Larry works on the Xbox Live team, while we work on the Xbox Base Software team. In the blogosphere, Larry's been doing an awesome job commenting on goings-on in the industry and I hope he continues to do so! We want this site to let the community be a bit more personal with the people that built Xbox 360. Hopefully you'll see posts from lots of team members from all over the Xbox organization.
Let us know what you'd like to see on the site. One consistent question we've been seeing is "how do I get into the games industry?" Maybe I'll take a stab at answering that in my next post...

Welcome back at you folks, nice to see the actual 360 team up on the net. Looking forward to you posts. I have been a keen reader and listener of MajorNelson for a while and find his interview particulary interesting in-site to Xbox 360 and XboxLive.
Couple items for posting:
- Why are alot of the secrets of the Xbox 360 not so well documented? (eg. 1. The way the controllers charge when console of if PlugNCharge kit plugged in before power off. 2. The reason why my MCE remote kept turning on my Xbox360? Thanks to MAjor blogcast I found the solution)
- Perhaps part of you site is to allow readers to post Xbox360 wish list items. An exmaple is ablity to see who is talking when playing online, thus if annoying then can feedback appropriatley as hard to tell ?
That all for now -- look forward to popping back to blog daily :)
PS: Great job on 360 !! - Anonymous

Major Nelson does an excellent podcast that pretty much covers everything. I am not sure what we could do differently that it'd be worth your while to listen to a podcast we make, but if you have any ideas send them this way... - Anonymous

Yeah... I got a really good idea for a game controller and no one sells anything quite like it ... at least not yet. I thought it would be good for games like Halo and Halo 2, shoot'em ups and even other games. It would allow a person to play games without ever taking their thumb off of the toggle stick. Most games only use a total of 4 fingers to play. The other 6 fingers do nothing more than hold the controller. I got an idea that will utilize those other fingers. - Anonymous
