Latest MSI.dll fix (927891) also available to WU/WSUS today

For those of you who may have not "synched" yet today, I'm also pleased to let you know the latest MSI.dll fix addressing it's portion of the Svchost/msi issue (KB927891) is also available via WU and WSUS today!

  The KB927891 patch was revised recently, but I had already been deploying the previous version of the hotfix through a login script across my School. When I approve the patch on my WSUS now that it is available, will it update all my clients that have the "old" version already installed?

  I manually installed the 927891 patch on a couple of computers today that already had the updated client.  After the 927891 patch was installed the spoolsv.exe process would shoot up to 90 to 99 cpu when trying to print something.  I had to turn off the Automatic Update service before I could get anything to print again.  Anyone else have this???

  Travis I also had this problem with a couple of our computers.  I did a manual update using Microsoft Update and downloaded and installed all of the critical updates and all of the recommended updates.  This worked for some reason.  If I would have had more time I would have tried each update to see which fixed the problem but I was under a time crunch.  This worked on both affected computers and they have been working for a week now with no problems.  Hope this helps!

  Hi to all, I have 1 upstream Wsus server with its 1 replica Wsus server. After I synchronized both servers I've realized that 1upstream wsus server showes 1% more than a wsus replica server in the "installed/not applicable" collumn of the computers view in several machines.
