In this  post we would like to pose a question to “YOU” and ask you for input on what the factory should support next. Note that the current support includes the guidance and the factory around creating the following environments on Virtual Server, Virtual PC and Hyper-V, with minimal humanoid input and in just under two hours per environment.

  • Windows Server 2008 32-bit, TFS 2010 RC, Visual Studio 2010 RC, SQL Server 2008, MOSS 2007 and Office 2007
  • Windows Server 2008 32-bit, TFS 2010 RC, Visual Studio 2010 RC, SQL Server 2008, WSS and Office 2007
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit, TFS 2010 RC, Visual Studio 2010 RC, SQL Server 2008, MOSS 2007 and Office 2007
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit, TFS 2010 RC, Visual Studio 2010 RC, SQL Server 2008, WSS and Office 2007

At this stage we are planning to refresh the above, when Team Foundation Server 2010 and Visual Studio 2010 are released.

What else should we consider for the future?
