TFS Planning, DR avoidance and TFS on Azure IaaS guidance embraces build

We are pleased to announce that the v1.4 BETA of the TFS Planning and DR Avoidance Guide now included the build supplement and the team is essentially “content complete”.

what’s new?

We now include practical, scenario-based guidance for the implementation of Team Foundation Server (TFS) on Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). We guide you through the planning and setup, based on a real-world proof-of-concept production deployment and experience from the ALM Rangers “in-the-field”.

why BETA?

The guides are feature and content complete, technically reviewed and therefore consumable as a BETA. To reach the RTM quality bar we are missing the final copy edit, which our trusted Bill Heys is cooking up.
P7290334_thumb1 Once Bill Heys has completed copy-editing all three we will switch to v3.0 and drop BETA.

The team is also working on a walkthrough video to explain some of the networking gremlins and adventures.
