Want to start a TechNet Wiki contest around your technology?

Sandro had a pretty good idea...

How would you like to start a TechNet Wiki contest?

It could be around your technology (like PowerPivot, SharePoint, Visual C#, or Small Basic), or it could be about your language (like German or Japanese).

What would your contest be? What are the requirements? How do you determine the winner? How long would the competition last? What would the results be?

Here are some examples...

1. We are doing this with Luiz's TechNet Wiki Day (two winners a month... a Portuguese article and an article in any language).

2. I have people vote on which article they want me to feature on the home page of TechNet Wiki.

3. We have a group (Yagmoth, Bruno, Gokan) doing a similar contest for French... Wiki French Contributors.

4. I've held a contest like this for Small Basic (using the Small Basic forums and blog to advertise the contest).

Would you want to run a contest just for the best Biztalk content on TNWiki? The best SharePoint article?

What would your competition be?

This is an excellent idea, and basically an extension to the weekly awards I'll pick a few of the most popular techs and see what we can drum up! :)
