Office 365

BPOS to Office 365 Transitions Start in September 2011 The software giant is gearing up to work closely with existing BPOS customers in order to ensure that the migration to Office 365 will be as smooth as possible. "Microsoft will begin contacting customers and partners this summer with September and October 2011 transition dates. Each month, we'll send out more transition scheduling notices," revealed Microsoft's Michael O'Neill.

Both resources are available for download free of charge from the Redmond company, which also created the Microsoft Office 365 transition center in order to support users moving from the Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS) to its new Cloud-based productivity offerings.

An Office on Every Surface When you talk about Office 365, I think the cloud will be a point of integration for the individual. All these different devices in their life, whether they are at home or at work or in their cars, will gradually become a more organized set of things that work together as opposed to a disjointed set of little computers that the user has to manage. And I think the cloud is an integral part of making that happen.
