Microsoft is pushing aggressively into cloud computing for businesses — and the Puerto Rico government and municipalities are shaping up to be the biggest customers for this service on the island.

To avoid new technology expenses and improve email reliability and accessibility, the city decided to eliminate its messaging server and instead use Microsoft Online Services for email messaging, collaboration, web conferencing, and instant messaging.With its move to the cloud, Humacao netted a savings of U.S.$90,834 by avoiding on-premises infrastructure expenses.

Bing: A New Streetside View

We are doing this by providing street level panoramas so you can take a virtual walk through the streets with a view of locations and landmarks.As you slide the street level imagery sideways, the view of the sidewalk is seamlessly constructed, including an overlay of business listings, street names and storefronts.
