EWS calls can do impersonation and delegation... how about REST?

This is an area where what EWS can do some things the REST API can do.  At this time the REST API does not support impersonation, delegation or Basic Authentication with Exchange.  Its possible that this may change in the future; however, for now those are not supported.  If you need those capabilities then look at using EWS.
