Support for Access Web Apps in SharePoint Online Going Away

Is there a good Microsoft resource with more information on the removal of Access Services from SharePoint Online?  My understanding is that no new Access apps can be created, but I’m trying to confirm whether or not my client that houses their tables in SharePoint Online and accesses them via Access 2016 is also going to need to find another solution.

But reading through the announcement and following comments, I found the following references:

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I’ll have to see if my local Access User Group is aware of this change.
