Monitoring Microsoft CRM with Microsoft Operations Manager
In Between Days...
I was just working through my backlog of e-mail today, when I can across an announcement from Vlatko on the CRM product team. We have just released a beta version of a MOM management pack specifically for Microsoft CRM 3.0 and the product team is looking for partner and customer feedback. The management pack enables automated monitoring and alerting administrators for some service availability, performance, or configuration issues with Microsoft CRM 3.0 deployment.
There are a couple of ways you can get hold of the beta. Firstly you can download it as part of the System Center Essentials 2007 Release Candidate evaluation here. System Center Essentials 2007 is a new, unified IT management solution for mid-sized customers, built on System Center Operations Manager 2007, Windows Server Update Services 3.0 and Microsoft Update.
Alternatively, you can just download the Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Management Pack here.
Please be aware that the management pack beta should only be deployed in test and/or development environments; If you choose to deploy it in a production environment, then you do so at your own risk. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated, and should be sent to: crmmommp@microsoft.com
