Microsoft CRM 'Titan" CTP Nominations

We recently announced that we are previewing the next major release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM (code-named “Titan”) with a broad range of Microsoft partners through our Community Technology Preview (CTP) Programme here. Well, I now have more details about the programme, as well as how to go about joining. The CTP provides:

  • Access to key, early information about Titan (On-Premise, Microsoft Live, Partner-Hosted)
  • A chance to work with early Titan code and begin to develop products and understand messaging and value proposition of Titan
  • Participation in weekly deep-dive technical calls that provide essential information about Titan
  • Access to Titan webcast archives
  • Access to Newsgroups to give feedback, ask questions and interact with Microsoft CRM team and other CTP participants

The last date to submit nominations are February 2nd, 2007. Unfortunately, this programme is only open to Microsoft Gold Certified or Microsoft Certified Partners specialising in the Microsoft Business Solutions competency, but watch this space for announcements about future programmes.

LATEST UPDATE - CTP nominations have now closed (I'm writing this update on Friday 2nd Feb). I just spoke with Rob Norton who is managing the CTP programme, and he told me that my blog post caused a last-minute surge in nominations, so to keep his inbox down to a more manageable level I have removed the nomination e-mail address. I will let you know about future programmes as soon I have more information. Thanks for your support.

    Hello, Simon! My name is Rob Norton, I'm the Technical Product Manager for Microsoft CRM -- wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support of the Titan CTP Program through your blog and confirm that yes, indeed nominations are closing this Friday, Feb 2nd, 2007.  Before that time, individuals can send an email to titanctp@microsoft.com with a subject of "CTP Nomination" and we will send them back a nominations spreadsheet to fill out with all the necessary information. As an update, we will accept nominations of non-Gold Certified and Non-Certified partners, though those partners should understand that priority for participation in the CTP Program will be given to Gold-Certified and Certified Partners, in that order.  Would you mind updating your blog with this information?
