Immersive MVC and jQuery: Project Silk

Patterns and Practices have just released their latest round of guidance for developing web applications - “Project Silk”. I’ve been watching what they generate closely and I think you’ll be impressed. To quote the landing page;

“Project Silk provides guidance for building maintainable cross-browser web applications that are characterized by an intentional design, rich interactivity, and a responsive user interface (UI), resulting in an immersive and engaging user experience (UX). Such applications take advantage of the latest web standards, including HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript version 5, and modern web technologies such as jQuery and ASP.NET MVC3“

The highlights are mine -  because it is key to understand that this guidance isn’t just about code structure and separation of concerns, but also covers making your UI really sing. Check out the guidance here;
