Rustock – a take down that worked but still part of a larger problem of botnets

I came across this video on Youtube today, a collaborative video between WorldBusiness and Microsoft.  They go into the problem of botnets and then have clips and tips from various officials, including Pfizer and Microsoft, on how to stay secure.  It also goes into a brief overlook of how the Rustock botnet takedown went down.

Anyways, if you have 7 minutes, check it out.  I like it (disclosure: it has a bunch of Microsoft folks in it so I am cheering for my home team).

The part of the video from 4:02 – 4:25 is disgusting.
