System Center Service Manager Connector 3.0 for Exchange

Exchange Connector connects Service Manager to Exchange for processing incoming emails related to work items. Once Exchange Connector has been configured to monitor exchange mailboxes, it can be used to create and update work items based on templates specified by the admin. By specifying special keywords to look for in the incoming emails, admins can configure Exchange Connector to perform actions like approving or rejecting review activities, or enable activity implementers to mark activities assigned to them as completed.

System Center Advisor Connector for Operations Manager Preview

The System Center Advisor Connector for Operations Manager preview enables Operations Manager users to receive ongoing assessment of configuration for their windows computers. After installing the connector and selecting computers to be analyzed, Operations Managers users will be able to receive Advisor alerts in the Operations Manager console.

System Center Management Pack for Windows 8 Client Operating System

The Windows 8 Client Monitoring Management Pack is built to detects, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software problems pertaining to Windows 8 operating systems. Information and analysis on the issues that the system detected are collected by the MPs through an agent on the client machine, and sent to OpsMgr where this data is converted into health state, alerts (if need be) and processed for business critical and aggregate reports. The MP gives a clear picture of catastrophic failures in your mission critical machines, trend-based alerts of significant changes to computer groups, in-depth views of health of individual machines, and reports that provide a landscape view of the health of all monitored clients.

System Center Management Pack for Microsoft Application Virtualization Server 5.0

The Microsoft System Center Management Pack for Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) Server 5.0 monitoring for App-V 5.0 Management, Publishing, and Reporting services installed on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) servers. The monitoring capabilities of this Management Pack are targeted to the App-V 5.0 services and are satisfied by leveraging events collected from each service. The events collected from each service indicate critical issues or failures with App-V 5.0 operations: during administrative interaction, application publishing, connectivity with active directory, between services, dependent infrastructure, database interaction. There is no monitoring of the App-V 5.0 Management or Reporting Microsoft SQL Databases or of the Microsoft IIS server hosting the App-V 5.0 services.

System Center Management Pack for Windows Azure Fabric – Preview

The Management Pack for Windows Azure Fabric enables you to monitor the availability and performance of Azure fabric resources that are running on Windows Azure. The management pack runs on a specified proxy agent and then uses various Windows Azure APIs to remotely discover and collect instrumentation information about a specified Windows Azure resource, such as a Cloud Service, Storage or Virtual Machine. The Management Pack for Windows Azure Fabric provides no functionality on import. For each Windows Azure subscription that contains Azure resources you want to monitor, you must configure discovery and monitoring by first using the Windows Azure wizard in the administration section of the OM Console, then the Windows Azure Monitoring template in the authoring section of the OM Console.

System Center 2012 Monitoring Pack for UNIX and Linux Operating Systems

??The UNIX and Linux Operating Systems Monitoring Packs enable discovering, monitoring, and managing UNIX and Linux computers with System Center 2012 – Operations Manager. They provide both proactive and reactive monitoring of the UNIX and Linux operating systems. The management packs monitor components such as processes, resources, and server agents. The monitoring provided by the management packs includes availability and configuration monitoring, performance data collection, and default thresholds. You can integrate the monitoring of UNIX and Linux components into your service-oriented monitoring scenarios. In addition to health monitoring capabilities, the management packs include reports, diagnostics, tasks, and views that enable near real-time diagnosis and resolution of detected issues. The management packs also enable the installation of the Audit Collection Services for UNIX/Linux Management Packs.
