Updated Exchange Deployment Assistant - includes Hybrid Configuration Wizard instructions

A couple months ago I wrote a post, Microsoft Exchange SP2 and the Hybrid Configuration Wizard, that introduced Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2 and the Hybrid Configuration Wizard. The purpose of the HCW is to configure hybrid deployments, which is an Exchange deployment where a portion of your mailboxes are hosted in the cloud and a portion are hosted on premises. Several configurations are available that are based on whether your on-premises mailboxes are protected by FOPE, how you route your mail to fulfill your compliance considerations, and a couple other factors.

This week the Exchange content publishing folks released the updated Exchange Server Deployment Assistant, which has new step-by-step instructions for configuring a hybrid environment with the HCW. The post Exchange Server Deployment Assistant Update for Exchange 2010 SP2 and Office 365 Hybrid Deployments on the Exchange Team blog tells all about it, and inlcudes a walk-through video from Ann Vu.
