Test Lab Guide: Exchange Server 2010 with SP1

The Test Lab Guide: Exchange Server 2010 with SP1 (https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=cfc05588-f52b-461b-9573-b903c4b9ab1e) is now available. This modular Test Lab Guide (TLG) contains an introduction to Exchange Server 2010 with SP1 and step-by-step instructions for extending the Base Configuration test lab to include a Exchange Server 2010 with SP1 server.

You can now build out multi-product scenarios that require an Exchange server on the Corpnet subnet.

A huge thanks to Technical Writer Bill Mathers on the Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) writing team for putting this together. That makes two TLGs from Bill, who now officially: RULES!

Go forth, my friends, and exchange email in a test lab!

Hi TrevJans, Great question! This TLG is designed to get Exchange set up. I can imagine that another TLG (another TLG module or a wiki extension) could be created to build on this TLG to show how to build out a CAS server for remote web client access. At this time we're not planning on building one (unless someone on the Exchange Team decides to pick it up) - but if you want to write a TLG extension, we'd be glad to show you how to get started! Thanks! Tom
