An open invitation to Microsoft partners
Hey Microsoft partners who are also TLG fans,
Test Lab Guides (TLGs) are open to anyone to contribute. If you are a Microsoft partner, official or otherwise, and want to create published content that highlights your product or solution in a standardized test lab environment, consider creating and publishing your own TLG or TLG stack.
Here are some examples of partner-based TLGs:
- Test Lab Guide: Demonstrate the F5 Networks BIG-IP Load Balancer for SharePoint Server 2010 This TLG, published by F5 Networks, Inc., builds out and demonstrates their BIG-IP load balancer providing load balancing of traffic between two front-end web servers of a SharePoint 2010 three-tier farm.
- Test Lab Guide: Configure the Contoso Branch Office using an Apposite Technologies WAN Emulator This TLG, published by me in conjunction with Apposite Technologies, builds out a branch office configuration with a hardware-based WAN emulator device.
The recently published Wiki: Test Lab Guide Content for Microsoft Partners article provides an overview of the value of TLGs in a sales engagement and a discussion of the key questions to ask yourself when determining whether TLG content is right for your product offerings. See this article and the Wiki: Creating and Publishing Test Lab Guide Content article for information about creating TLG content for our mutual customers.
Enjoy, partner!
