Microsoft Protocols (MCPP, WSPP) to help developers build interoperability.

Morning all,

Just wanted to point you all in the direction of this new program we are offering at Microsoft, "Microsoft Protocol Program". As stated in the introduction it will help to "foster innovation and interoperability by offering licensees access to technology and quality guidance for developers to use Windows protocols on any platform."

Microsoft Protocols (MCPP, WSPP) to help developers build interoperability.

What does this mean? Well if you are a software developer, you can license and build these protocols in to your products to ensure a greater amount of interoperability with other applications, services and operating systems. In fact at last count, we offered over 100 protocols that you can license royalty-free for your software, you can see them all here https://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms818754.aspx.

So if you are building software and want to enable greater levels of communication between software then check it out...
