SharePoint 2010 Update
Information is slowly trickling out from the SharePoint Conference currently taking place in Las Vegas.
I think the biggest piece of news is that the SharePoint 2010 Beta becomes available in November! You can sign up for information about the beta here.
Preliminary system requirements for SharePoint Server 2010:
- SharePoint Server 2010 will be 64-bit only
- SharePoint Server 2010 will require 64-bit Windows Server 2008 or 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2
- SharePoint Server 2010 will require 64-bit SQL Server 2008 or 64-bit SQL Server 2005
