Team Foundation Server Release Candidate "early February"!?
Cool... According to Jeff Beelher's (Jeff's a Lead Program Manager) blog a TFS Release Candidate could show up in February - even "early February".
Here's a couple snippets (and the whole entry is here)
"We're planning on releasing our TFS Release Candidate in early February (and I mean very early February as long as everything goes as planned)"...
"As with Beta3 refresh, this Release Candidate will be a Go-Live release. By this we mean that we'll provide the tools you need to upgrade your data from Beta3 Refresh and we'll support migrating your data from the RC to final release of TFS."
"We are still committed to releasing the final build of TFS in the first quarter of 2006."
Are you an ISV using VSTS for your development? If so, how's it going? If not, what's the biggest barrier? Most of the ISV's I've been meeting with are just starting to get pretty heads down with it as the last year they've been consumed with readying for SQL 2005, and .NET Framework 2.0.
