My friends at Vectorform pointed me to this video that talks about the site they built for Associated Press using the capabilities of IE9. The AP Time Line reader looks a lot like an app but right clicking shows no Flash or Silverlight at work. Just pure HTML5 and plenty of hardware accelerated graphics goodness.
