SLC Camp Denver, November 17-18, 2012

Join us at the University of Denver for an EdTech Codeathon. Learn about the Shared Learning Collaborative (SLC) technology and open source API. Collaborate with teams of developers and educators to build applications using the SLC data store. Compete for prizes for the best SLC applications and concepts created during the camp.

Who

Anyone interested in using technology to revolutionize education: Coders to build apps, teachers to help design and validate apps, bloggers, UI designers, artists, project managers and more.  In short, anyone who is interested in learning more about the SLC technology and open source API or who wants to help out is invited!

What

SLC Camp Denver is a two-day Codeathon and Tagathon event. There will be sessions about the SLC architecture and ecosystem, with special emphasis on Learning Maps and on making data-based decisions. The two best open source applications built using the SLC data store during the camp weekend will receive prizes of $2,000 each.  Also, $300 prizes will go to the three best app concepts.
