Download Available: SQL Server Data Tools CTP4 (SSDT)

We are happy to announce that SQL Server Data Tools CTP4 (SSDT) is now available for download here! This release is fully integrated and compatible with SQL Server 2012 RC0. Please note that due to continued propagation problems, we are only able to provide the release for the EN-US locale at this time. We are continuing to work on making all of our supported locales available for download.

Besides being able to download directly, installation from either the planning tab of the SQL Server 2012 RC0 Installation Center or the SQL Server Database Project stubs is now functioning.

We apologize for the delay in releasing CTP4 and for the compatibility problems that have been experienced as a result of this delay. If you have previously installed SQL Server Developer Tools CTP3 (Code-named “Juneau”) and plan to upgrade to SSDT CTP4, please follow the instructions laid out in the “Uninstalling SQL Server Developer Tools CTP3” blog post on the SSDT Team Blog here.

We will post further communication when the rest of the locales are available.

Thank you for your patience.
