Update: New sample database for SQL Server 2016: Wide World Importers

 

CTP3 of SQL Server 2016 was just announced, and is available for download.

To accompany CTP3, we also created an updated version of AdventureWorks, called AdventureWorks2016CTP3, and we created a number of samples to showcase some of the new functionality in SQL2016. We recommend you download and install the sample databases and play with the sample scripts. Download link:

    I'm not seeing the JSON "setup script" referenced in JSON examples script instructions:

  •   		AdventureWorks SQL Server 2016 CTP3 JSON Sample

  • Prerequisites:

    1. AdventureWorks2016CTP3 database must be installed.
    1. JSON Setup script must be executed....

    Hi Keith, AdventureWorks2016CTP3 already contains all necessary objects to run JSON sample. Please ignore comment "JSON Setup script must be executed" as it is not relevant and will be removed. Run the rest of "JSON Samples Queries..." script and let is know your feedback. Thanks for bringing this up! Best Regards, Borko Novakovic
