Presenters: Edward Bell, Microsoft IT Senior Operations Engineer, Microsoft Corporation, and Jeremy Young, Microsoft IT Server Patch Management Service Lead, Microsoft Corporation

As a Senior Operations Engineer, Edward Bell is responsible for the design, implementation and support of Microsoft IT Datacenter System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure. As datacenter SCCM service lead, Edward runs the datacenter asset management, desired configuration management (DCM) and software deployment services supporting thousands of datacenter servers within Microsoft enterprise worldwide.  Additionally, he works closely with the security patch management service lead that provides datacenter server security patch management for Microsoft datacenter servers worldwide.

Jeremy has worked at Microsoft for over 6 years with the majority of the time focused on patch management.  In the first few years at Microsoft he helped architect and operate the Datacenter server patch management service using Systems Management Server 2003 (SMS 2003).  Jeremy then took over the service lead position on the Desktop Management Team, responsible for securing all corporate desktops, labs using Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007 (CM07).  A couple years ago he became the Service Lead for the server patch management service.
