Have you seen the new OpsManJam site?

Some of our folks out in the field got together and put up a fantastic OpsManager website out at https://www.opsmanjam.com and if you haven't seen it already you should definitely check it out.  They're posting unofficial management packs, management pack authoring tutorials and guidance, command shell scripts, and more.  The content on this site comes from Microsoft Consulting Services, Microsoft IT and the Operations Manager Product team, and while the content that you will find here is not supportedby Microsoft, it has been used in the field and is used everyday inside of Microsoft. Consider it useful tidbits from the experts.

To give you a small taste of the kinds of things you'll find, they posted a document describing how to deploy a highly available System Center Operations Manager 2007 Reporting solution, a download for an extended Management Pack for Active Directory, a PowerPoint presentation providing suggestions on administering management packs throughout their lifecycle in your organization, and much much more.  It's a regular salad of information on anything and everything Operations Manager.

If you haven't seen it then stop by and let them know what you think.

Content is starting to flow in, which is good.  However, with all the build-up internally for this, I thought it would have been a bit better.  Sharepoint is really not the best technology to provide a top resource like this.  It's an OpsMan site, so far without the "Jam" part of it.
