Silverlight…not just for the Web…

So in case you are in the habit of navigating the MSDN table of contents to locate the Silverlight content, you should know that the Silverlight node has moved out of the Web Development node, to the .NET Development node. We thought this was a more intuitive place to find the Silverlight content, given it's out-of-browser and Windows Phone 7 capabilities. It’s the same content, just a different location.

Oscar, Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform implementation of the .NET Framework for building media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web, Windows Phone and beyond! Silverlight 2 and 3 are previous versions of Silveright, with Silverlight 4 being the current version.  Windows Phones are mobile devices running a version of the Windows operating system. Silverlight 3 is the development platform for Windows Phone 7. Check out http://www.silverlight.net. and the Silverlight docs at msdn.microsoft.com/.../cc838158(VS.95).aspx. Hope that helps! Cheryl
