Silverlight SDK material for Silverlight 1.0 SDK refreshed on MSDN
We've updated the online SDK material for Silverlight 1.0 here:
https://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb404718.aspx
Some highlights:
- Reorganized the Table of Contents a little bit, in an effort to provide better categorization for what used to be grouped in "Fundamentals"
- Some new overviews, including Error Messages, Silverlight URL Access Policy, How To: Create a Timer, How To:Crop an Object, MediaElement States, Programmatic Animations, Optimizing the Installation Experience (this latter topic is similar to the Deployment Guide that was also available as a standalone doc/sample set on Silverlight.net).
- Improved XAML syntax throughout the reference. Also, for certain types that use a from-string instantiation syntax that works either as a XAML attribute or from JavaScript, formalized "Grammar" sections that help break down and explain the grammar required for these strings.
- A smattering of new XAML and/or script examples throughout.
These documentation updates are presently available only within the online (MSDN) version of the Silverlight 1.0 SDK. The offline SDK install's documentation has not been updated with this content.
