Generic Web Service and TechEd EMEA

An example of what I wrote about yesterday (untyped ports) is here. This example models a generic web service that can accept any type of XML document and put it into orchestration through a single receive port. Enjoy.

On another note I'll be at TechEd EMEA in a few weeks time and I want to hear from people currently working on BizTalk Server 2004 projects (as always we are planning the next version and need to hear more feedback). I'm trying to figure out a way to set up some 1:1s with customers and I want to try an experiment. When I have my schedule sorted out I'll post some open time slots on my blog and if you want to spend 30 minutes with me on anything BizTalk we can schedule it that way ;).

Also keep pushing on the developer competition - lots of money is sitting out there for clever people to win...

Great initiative to talk 1:1 at the Tech-Ed. I'll certainly hope to get a change to talk to you there.

I got error when I run the sample even though I add ws.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials; before calling OperationAny. Could you give me any clue? Thanks.

Harry, I get the same error logged when I call a published orchestration (webservice) from my client application. I see continuous events being logged (ENTSSO warning and BizTalk Server 2004 error) with a similar description as yours. I will try changing the Client User permissions to see if it works.

Harry, make sure that the login ASPNET is part of the Biztalk Application Users group (I just did this and my application works now, I see no SSO AUDIT errors). In your case, I think you need to make sure your Client User login is a member of Biztalk Application Users group, this gives the user access to BTS databases.
