The documentation update was a huge help. For nearly a week my colleague and I struggled with a number of issues that were cleared up immediately after downloading the April update yesterday.

One question: is the tutorial that's mentioned in the new help file available for download anywhere?

Biztalk 2004 help update was very useful, Also is there any plans to create a public Biztalk 2004 newsgroups, since it's kind of hard to search in Beta newgroups for troubleshooting.

    Good Job Scott!

The tutorial is mentioned in 'Introducing Biztalk Server 2004' (first section). And no it is not in the SDK - typical of Microsoft to get something so simple so wrong!

Yes, just to follow up, the help file has the following under the topic "BizTalk Server 2004 Tutorial":

"The tutorial is provided in Word format so you can print it easily.

    Hi,
I'm working on biztalk 2004 trying to configure Send & Receive pipelines for Reliable Messaging but am unable to do so.

Could some one guide me as to how to configure Reliable Messaging headers in Send Pipeline. i'm consuming a web service (an exposed orchestration) & am trying to establish Reliable Messaging between the two, could some one guide me as to how to set the R.M properties & what to set in the document & envelope schema property.

Any suggestions on the above are welcome.

    Thanx in advance.

    Regards,
    VeejAY

This is a known Excel automation issue published on the kb article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=320369. The simple fix is to either install the MUI pack for non-English Excel or set user locale to en-US.

I am running BTS 2004 on WIN Svr 2003. I tried to implement the EAI Solution Example and I ran into the following error when I tried to deploy the Orchestration:

[Microsoft.BizTalk.Deployment.DeploymentException] Unable to deploy early bindings. [Microsoft.BizTalk.Deployment.Binding.BindingException] Failed updating binding information. BindingException: Receive Location 'EAIOrchestrations_1.0.0.0_EAIOrchestrations.EAIProcess_ReceiveReqPort_1e1817e3244489af_ReceiveLocation' has no receive handler. Specify a Receive Handler

I installed the RollUp Package but it did not solve the problem, and there is not COM+ rollup for Win 2003.

Any kind of insight or suggestions are welcome.

    thanks,
    D.

The tutorial I'm using says nothing about binding files, so I'm not sure where I'd go to edit this animal.

    Thanks.
