SharePoint 2007 Internet Facing Sites : Part 4
Microsoft.com a SharePoint 2007 site??
If you've keeping up with the previous parts, then you'll know that the number of folks deploying SharePoint 2007 for hosting their internet sites is increasing. I've been highlighting a few of them in this blog.
Well, have you checked out the new Microsoft.com site? Guess what??, yep it's migrating to SharePoint technology. Because of it's size not sure when it will be complete but I would imagine this will be a case study once complete. From the Q/A page:

We hope the new page makes it easier to find what you’re looking for on Microsoft.com, and that you find new items of interest along the way...
This migration speaks loudly about the confidence in the SharePoint technology since Microsoft.com is one of the top 10 visited sites on the internet:
