How to Install Exchange 2007 Service Pack 2 on Windows Small Business Server 2008

Microsoft Exchange Sp2 has been released, however there are additional steps required to get it to install onto an SBS server.  Please review the following KB article for steps on installing Exchange 2007 Service Pack 2 on SBS.

  Will Microsoft release any updates for SBS 2008 which will allow for the Exchange 2007 SP2 to install automatically through windows update or WSUS? I would rather wait until Microsoft have officially corrected any problems than edit the registry - is there any ideas on timescales for when this could be expected? 3 months, 6 months? longer? thanks Steve

  I don't have Forefront security, however, I am running SBS 2008 so the first portion of the article applied to me, and resolved me not installing it, to a point.  After I completed the registry change, the service pack started to install, and then stopped.  Now I get an error "The Exchange binary files are not installed, but the backup settings registry key is present.  Only build-to-build upgrade mode is available." How do I install

  I have the same "The Exchange binary files are not installed, but ..." issue, and now all the Exchange services are 'disabled'.   If I can't install SP2, how can I back-out what's been done?
