My 3 part series on Agile Program Management on Port 25
In a follow up to my original post on how I learned to program manage an agile team, I’ve put together a 3 part series on how to be an Agile Program Manager over on Port 25.
- Part 1 – the Agile Program Management Lifecycle w/ a real world example from a CodePlex feature ste
- Part 2 – Course Correction – why designing features only 80% of the way allows you to deliver the ideal 100% feature in an agile team
- Part 3 – How the Codeplex Team Builds Software using Agile
Enjoy!

Hi Sara, I've actually published an interesting series myself on Agile Program Management: The Baking (Agile) Manifesto. I hope you will get the chance to read it.Anonymous

I enjoyed the series, and like you're description of the realisation that agile is just a series of mini waterfalls. One way I like to describe waterfall is that the spec is written, then the development team disappear into a dark room for six months. Finally they emerge from the dark, mirky room, and ask, "Is this what you wanted?". At which point you say "No" and they disappear back into the room again!
