Outlook 2007 Monthly and Weekly Print View Problem / Fix

If you have installed the April 2010 Cumulative Update or later for Outlook 2007, you will notice that word-wrapping has been added to the print views for Monthly and Weekly styles.

That's pretty cool - and has been a lingering and frequently requested change in Outlook 2007. However - there was a problem with this updated print feature, in that is omits the Ending Time on appointments. Quite a few customers have reported this issue, and I'm glad to say that a fix is in the works and is due to be released with the October 2010 Cumulative Update for Outlook 2007.

Additionally - Outlook 2010 should be getting these changes in SP1 when it releases. This will significantly help with customers who have gone to the Calendar Printing Assistant because the Calendar printing in Outlook 2007 left a bit to be desired.

  Hi, Pretty much everything I know about CPAO is dumped here. I am not aware of any other formal documentation on the schema, etc. Everything I have learned is straight through trial and error - and a LOT of errors! As for hiding the days that fall outside the month boundary, check out blogs.technet.com/.../cpao-editing-the-calendar-grid-in-a-template-part-1.aspx ... ... The WeekGrid part tells how to make the grid. <WeekGrid Orientation="Fill" NumRows="Auto" NumColumns="7" Style="LevelOneBody"          UnitRestriction="false"> The orientation is "fill" which means to fill each day in the grid. NumRows of "Auto" means that it should use as many rows as is needed for the entire month. NumColumns is 7 because there are 7 days in each week. "UnitRestriction" tells whether or not to show data from other months. When set to "false" it will show data from other months in the grid. When set to "true" then data from other months will not show in the grid. ... ...
