Imagine a city, a big city, London for example.

You have zones with more people and zones with few people. You have main streets and small way. Bi-directional streets and oneway streets. Ways for car, ways for taxi, ways for walk only etc.

So you can have personal informations, aggregate informations, community information, regulated information links and casual information links.

Imagine a peer to peer network on this city.

Now think to your intranet. Can you see some differences? I think no. So, why we don't use urbanistic theory to manage our intranet?
